Great collection of EVERY variant cover for the latest run of MARVEL STAR WARS books (STAR WARS 1-6, PRINCESS LEIA 1-5, and DARTH VADER 1-6)… love seeing the art as full page entries (and many as black and white variants as well)
Most of why I purchased this book was for the Alex Ross covers. Unfortunately about half of the covers he painted appear as 1 inch by 2 inch images in the bottom of a page. Yet a good portion of the other art has sketch or uncolored versions. There are several other places where they put in smaller pictures of some of the best art work. The book would have only needed to be 10 or 15 pages longer to see all of the art full sized. Why didn’t they do so? At almost $40 retail you would think that they would have at least considered doing so. I can only guess that they are planning on doing some sort of double dip later on where all of the ‘best’ art will show up at full size. I’m returning this one and I’ll wait for that inevitable double dip down the road.
